Grouping different movies together with common names yet the movies are indeed different.

Hey so I recently noticed that when I add two movies of the same name (but are indeed different) plex groups them in one. Is there a way to separate them entirely?

For example Disney’s Cinderella I have the original which aired in 1950 and I also have the newer one which aired in 2002 the files are in separate folders and are labeled like: Cinderella (XXXX) (where the XXXX’s are the appropriate years of release.)

If you are using mp4 files, tackle the problem at the source:
Edit the embedded metadata ‘Title’ tag of the movies and append the (year) there too.

After doing that a Plex Dance is needed.
