Guests able to delete files

Good morning. I think it would be very interesting if, when creating a guest or family member account to connect to our server, there were an on/off switch next to it to control whether or not they can delete files themselves.

I have a wife and three children, and I’m the one who has to keep track of what they’re watching so I can delete it. It would be great if they could do it themselves. Thanks.

Allow managed users to delete content (tv shows/videos/movies)

Managed users should be allowed to delete content. For those of us that are not hoarders, content is deleted immediately after viewing the vast majority of the time. If managed users were given this permission, my family members (which are managed users) would be able to login to clients as themselves vs having to login as the admin user. This feature fits nicely into the managed user permissions as mocked up below.

Have you looked into Maintainerr? I don’t use it, but it allows you to create rules and have it delete media when they are met.

Automatically clean up unwatched Plex, Jellyfin & Emby media

Doesn’t let them do it themselves, but would remove that task from your plate.
