Guide filters missing

With updates in the past few months I noticed that most of the filters that used to exist for live TV guide are missing. For example I used to be able to filter by type (movie, tv show, etc.), release date, and content rating. I used those filters primarily to find movies or shows that I wanted to record. Now the only filters I see are for selecting a day and HD channels.

Were these filters moved to a different view in Plex? If not are there any plans to add them back? Currently running version 1.16.3.1433.

I was wondering about this as well. These filters were extremely useful, and it would be a shame for them to have been removed.

PLEASE bring back this functionality. I only record content from 3-4 channels (out of 300+) and the requirement to scroll the entire grid to mark future recordings is untenable. If I dig up an old server package and downgrade will I get it back?

No it’s an issue with (the new) guide data; older server software won’t even work as far as I know.

I’m using XMLTV. It worked on the previous web UI, but doesn’t work on the new UNO web UI.

Right, sorry, my bad! It’s an issue with UNO.

Any idea when it will work with UNO? I’ve stopped even trying to find content to record with the DVR because there are almost no TV guide filters.

The loss of these filters makes the guide much less useful. A real shame to lose them.

Interface has changed. Click on “Recommended” then on the type of media (e.g. Movies), then you will see a familiar interface allowing you to narrow further.

I’ve seen that before. I just tried it again by clicking on “Upcoming Movies” but it’s still a smaller list of filters than it used to be. There are no filters for things like content rating and channel anymore and I know there used to be a few others.

The lack of “channel” filter completely kills the new UNO DVR interface for me. It’s basically a digital version of a newspapers tv guide now.
