I really want to love Plex, coming from WMC but the lack of a grid based guide in TV mode is killing the wife acceptance factor. There is no easy way to find and watch a news program that is in progress. Is this being worked on or am I stuck with WMC on Windows 7?

Yes we are working on a grid view.
Although, I don’t see how a grid view will help. If you are looking for news on right now, you can go to either the Watch Now tab or Browse All tab then select News. I would think those are faster then looking through a grid.
Having the channel numbers in the list makes it quicker to scroll down and find what you are looking for. Watch now isn’t bad but you have to know what program is currently on. Fox News is 8 - 10 rows down and you have to search thru every line looking for the program. A list view for watch now that includes channel number and name might be easier to work with and should be easier to program than a full blown guide. I don’t mind getting out the mouse and switching back to the desktop view to set recordings. It isn’t done often.
Thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing your next improvements to TV mode. I’d spring for lifetime PlexPass if I can make the wife happy.
Do you have any idea on when that will be ready? I’m comparing Emby and Plex and that is a major feature I would like to see in Plex.
