I found one other post related to accessibility. Not network/app/internet accessibility but individuals with handicaps of sorts.
I found this one post from 2016 that references similar concerns.
My primary inquiry to this relates to a family member who is intellectually handicapped. During long trips we used to provide a portable DVD player that would help keep them calm and less anxious for trips. These days everything is streamed and there is no physical media. Being able to provide an individual a tablet to watch relevant content where controls could be locked in a manner that accidental taps or swipes on the screen would not interrupt the playing content, would be a huge step in accessibility. Something like a PIN could be used to allow for full functionality that would allow caretakers the ability to select media and configure things for the end-user accordingly.
Being able to see individuals like this (in my case family) be able to access our curated Plex content in a manner where it will play no matter what happens with the device would be fantastic.
And again, I understand that this is a niche issue but I figured I’d pop it in here as a suggestion, to see if it’s anything that may already be on the road map or even that if it is on the road map, be able to assist in some manner as I’m in a situation where it’s possible for my family to do so.
