Hi, is it possible for Live TV Recordings to use hardware encoding, as currently it is consuming large amounts of CPU and therefore electricity whenever I record a TV programme.
For transcoding, Plex uses my Nvidia graphics card, and it word be nice if this was possible for encoding too.
The reason for Live TV requiring encoding is I found my recordings weren’t playing back correctly, so I ticked the checkbox to encode on the fly for better compatibility and this worked a treat.
