I copied over my profile from PHT and sometimes the remote works fine and sometimes it doesn’t. I can reboot or restart the application and it works as expected. When it breaks, it’s random and Pause doesn’t work, but if you press Stop it pauses it. Back button doesn’t work, but Menu goes back. I have checked the input device is set to Harmony and I know the config is correct because sometimes it is working. Any thoughts?
I had a similar issue but I set the config from scratch. Copying it over may have caused an issue. What I did was enable “Multiremote (Harmony)” under Input Device, and also checked “Start PHT with Remote”. Then it stopped working. I unchecked “Start PHT with remote” and rechecked it and all was good again. Try enabling and disabling that option and also try rebooting your machine after the changes. After that it’s been working great. Not sure what the problem was but I think PlexHTHelper needed to correct itself to work with OpenPHT as opposed to the original PHT. Do you have Plex Media Player as the device on your Harmony remote settings?
Sorry for the late response. I had it unchecked so I checked it and rebooted. Harmony remote has it as a Plex Media Player. Thanks for the suggestions and hopefully this makes a difference.
Sorry for a stupid question but… I don’t see any options under input device other than the one default? I also have a Harmony remote.
It should have 3 options under Input Devices: Apple Remote, Universal, and MultiRemote (Harmony)…
Under Input Devices all I have is Remote control sends keyboard presses and below that Peripherals is greyd out…
