Harmony Ultimate + IR receiver + Raspberry Pi 3

I recently got a Raspberry Pi 3 and installed Rasplex on it. It runs amazing. I am trying to get our Harmony Ultimate to work with it.

The remote itself works no problem. The issue I am having is getting the Harmony to send the correct IR commands. I tried setting it up as a Windows Media Center pc. That did not seem to work.

Thoughts? Is there a way to find out who actually makes this remote?

UPDATE!

This is what I did to get it working.

  1. Setup a new device as a media center extender
  2. Went through each command that I knew I would use and retaught the command using the original remote
  3. Harmony Ultimate now controls my Rasplex through the IR dongle that came with the remote
