Lately TV Shows that I have set up to record only new episodes on a regular basis are not being listed as a “new episode”. These are in fact new episodes, but Plex is not seeing it as that and therefore it does not record them. I have also noticed that the episodes will be in the schedule to record a week out and the a few days before they will drop off because the episode loses it’s “new” status somehow.
I have noticed that too, however on mine it seems to be tied to the channel not even displaying. I managed to catch one while it was supposed to be recording and I couldn’t even find that show listed in the watch now lineup. I recently upgraded to the latest version and it still seems to be happening.
Yes, I have seen this. Specifically I had a recording for the news to record only new airings which news is always a new airing. They did not record and i did not see them in the recording schedule either until I changed it to record new and repeat airings.
I assumed some flag was not being set correctly for that show.
