Has anyone noticed a glitch when scrolling through episodes on current version?

I will try to post a video at some point.

When I am scrolling through episodes of a season, the orange box moves down until it hits midscreen. At this point, it seems that the box is to stay stationary and the episodes actually move up on the screen. When this is occurring, the orange box flickers and the episode box (containing the episode info within) moves up, albeit not very smoothly.

Any other observers?

This isn’t a glitch, this is by design. If we allowed the focused episode to remain on the bottom of the screen some users would see it cut off if they have non-optimal overscan settings on their TVs, so instead we move the list up as you navigate down to ensure the focus is always around the centre of the screen. The ‘flicker’ is something we can/should look into improving though!

The flicker is the glitch I am referring to. I understood the focus to the center of the screen. The flicker is just not as polished as I would expect from the nice and shiny UI is all. Need a video or have you reproduced the flicker?

I’m having a glitch and it drives me nuts. When scrolling left to right through my TV shows, I get about half way through and the shows seem to ‘refresh’ and it sends me back to the beginning, I have to scroll all the way back to where I was before. It’s happened on every version and it angers me. Anyone seen this?

@hatcher.server Yes we can reproduce the flicker, we’re going to see how we can improve that issue.

@chrisbensch That bug should have been fixed with 1.2.1. You’re still seeing it in the latest version?

I still get that going back to start not sure what version i am on though

Indeed there is a flicker when moving through episodes in the list, take a look at the Roku version when going through the list is perfectly smooth with no flickering. Obviously this should be able to be accomplished on the Xbox one. Looking forward to this issue being fixed.
