Hauppauge Quad Tuner not found

Looks like they removed the QUAD from the supported site listing.

We did, because it’s hard to detect the difference between the one we support and the one we don’t. When the next update comes out, it will have support for both.

I appear to have a 1629 version as linked below. Can you please include this model in the update? I believe this means there are now three versions.

Thanks.

Logs attached.

keithah, I understand why you removed it from the list, but that is SUPER frustrating to those who went and bought it based on your list, and are running into issues. I went back and think im taking crazy pills, because it WAS on the list.

You should really just strike-through the line item on the list, make a note (There is a whole notes section) and mention what you have in this posting. This would be much more transparent and user friendly.

Pretty disappointed I am having issues with this Xbox 1 tuner. Seems like the same issue of not finding the tuner when I click the search for DVR button.

Really hoping you can get support for this working soon. I was all excited today to get this working…

@logvin we find it as frustrating as you do, when we work with vendors and they don’t inform us about multiple revisions until we ask.

We also checked on the 1629, and it will be supported. (it’s actually the same as a DVB one, just different SKU)

We have the fix in place already, and will reach out once a build is ready to a few users to verify the fix, likely on Monday.

@keithah thankyou!

Has these quad tuners been tested in Plex docker?

as long as you specify the device with ‘–device’ docker will pass it through, like any pci device you want to use in docker.

I think you missed the point. The vendor didnt modify your website and remove the line item with absolutely no explination. Your team did that. Plex could have dont a better job communicating here. I completely understand WHY you did it, I’m frustrated that I had to come to the forums and look it up myself because your team thought the best thing to do was to pretend like it never happened.

Is there a way to get added to the list for beta users? I have the 1609 Quad card and am patiently waiting for the fix. I am willing to test for you.

Who’s testing the quadhd in Windows? If so, please message me.

We’re still working through some Linux issues.

I’m willing to test as well.

Here’s a updated PMS with the QuadHD fix in on Windows. This only fixes QuadHD for Windows.

That build found the QuadHD for me, 1609. Scanning channels now. Thanks for the quick fix @keithah!

Did support for the 1609 get added to plex?
