So this started a few server versions back.
When I try to exit from Android clients (could be more but all I use is Android) I have to press back (say from just finishing a movie for this example) and I end up back at the home screen, then press back again to exit and it goes back to the home screen again. Pressing back again exits.
Is this supposed to happen for some reason I don’t know about?
You may want to add App versions and are you talking “back” with a Nav button or gestures?
Nothing changes on screen?
If you want to leave the app why not just hit the home button? ( I’m assuming you are running a version of android mobile that still has the back/home buttons on the bottom of screen)
Probably should’ve mentioned Android TV, not mobile, sorry.
So this entire sequence consists of selecting a movie, then 5 back button presses. One goes back to home, two opens side panel, three goes back to home, four opens side panel, and five exits.

Latest version in google play.
Just noticed this was moved to Android mobile. I didn’t post it here.
Hmm… I see what you mean, not sure why it is focusing on your user avatar at times then home tab at top, then opening side bar again. Something does seem weird there. I’ll ask devs about that.
But if you want to leave app why not just hit home button? ( looks like you have some sort of custom universal remote so maybe you need to map it.
I added Android TV tag)
Appreciate the help but I’m not looking for a “do it my way” response. ![]()
I understand and that is why I was acknowledged your issue first.
Was just curious about other thing
The home button will take it back home from anywhere. Just back that got screwy.
I should also mention this has nothing to do with the client and is definitely a server issue. I remember it started right after a server update and I figured “eh, they’ll fix it with the next update”. Thought that a few times and just updated again today and it still does it so I figured it’s time to mention it. Probably started 3 updates ago, maybe 4.
