I have been using Plex for years, Windows 10 computer.
This past week when I Open Plex I have to login.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as it is real pain.
I assume you are referring to the web client, right?
When I went to plex via Rokuit and its clocking so I go to my PC.
Plex is running, I select open Plex which brings me to the web interface, only now it prompts for my plex id/password. It isn’t happening every time, I am not sure if it is once a day or something. If I select open plex now it is ok, this morning it gave the prompts.
This has happened a number of times this week.
“Open Plex” will only open the web app.
This has nothing to do with the Roku app nor with the Plex server
I’m pretty sure these are separate issues.
As for the web app asking for your username and password every time: that is what my link above is about.
