Whenever I add a theme song to a television show that’s already in my library the only way I can get it the song to play whenever I open up is if I delete the show, empty the trash, and then put the show back in my library. If I only add the theme song it won’t play. Is there a better way?
‘Refresh’ the whole show will pick up your theme.mp3
How do you refresh an individual show? I only see an option to refresh the entire category.
You go to the preplay page of this show
(the whole show, not just a season or an episode)
refresh is under the ellipsis ( . . . ) on the upper right
The refresh option at least when I do it actually refreshes the entire season.
Anyways I wonder if Plex has a limit on theme songs. The show that I added a theme to’s theme changed 4 or 5 times throughout the many years and I combined them into one MP3 and it’s just over 10 minutes long. I wonder if that’s why I can’t get it to play.

It should actually refresh the whole show i.e. all seasons.

No. I added some theme songs from the official soundtrack albums which are comparable in play time. No issues.
