Please help I’m new to plex and I am having a hard time trying to sync my HD prime to my plex server. I need serious help and helpful advise. I looked at Lon’s video and there not that helpful. Please respond thanks.
We need a bit more information than that. Where exactly are you having issues? Its pretty straight forward and just clicking next, next and next. I have a HD Connect and I click yes, I want to set it up, I click on the device, it finds the channels and I add my zip code and it downloads the guide… done. What do you really mean by Sync your HD prime to the plex server? Does it find your HD device?
After the initial setup where it downloads the program guide nothing else shows up. I click out of it and go to live tv and there’s nothing there.
What device did you install this on? When you click on Live TV it goes to program guide and when you click on that you get nothing? What about hitting your server using the website, are you able to see the program guide there? Also, please remove your other post… not needed.

what browser are you using? I have had problems with IE/Edge browser when trying to setup my dvr it got stuck a few times and freaked out , using Firefox solved my problem and let the DVR setup process complete properly. Worth A try to see if this fixes your issues.
After it downloads your list of stations, there is a another process that should sync your GUIDE data “TV GUIDE” stuff if that doesn’t ever finish you wouldn’t be able to record or see “live” shows that are available. Not sure if this what “Sync your Prime to Plex” but maybe what they are saying.
also what platform are you using for Plex server , you may want to include the info in your signature as it helps with issues.
