HDHomeRun DVR not found or forever spins on DVR Setup

My Plex Server has been connected with my HDHomeRun but recently, I’m only seeing 3 channels in guide and when I go to Settings > Live TV & DVR, the HDHR isn’t displayed. I try to set up a new DVR, and since it doesn’t find my HDHR on the network, I click the link to manually enter the IP address and then proceed through the setup flow. I enter my ZIP but on the next step, it just spins forever (http://salrok.com/misc/dvrSetup.png). I’ve tried on both Safari and Chrome, I don’t think the update to Mojave did anything, but can someone please help?

I get this too and it is really frustrating

With the recent update (last week?), it seemed to fix this problem and now I get Guide/channels like I used to get.

Howdy Steve…I have HD homerun and I am wondering if you had a Power Spike …Have you tried to reinstall the HD home run and use its trouble shoot feature to make sure its NOT the HD homerun first… It may still show them as being there Mine did the same thing here in Florida and in was feeling like a dumbass BC my Surge protection had not reset to say was a spike so i didnt think to look there until one day it dropped a tuner and once i re ran the HD Homerun set up the Tuners and all my Channels were back…Not sure if this is your issues but worth a try…Good Luck Cow }:-o)

With my setup, I could launch the HD Player and it would play channels just fine. I could also run the HDHR channel scan and that also worked. So I knew the HDHR was working ok, it was just the handshake between Plex and HDHR that seemed broken.

For any future googlers: the fix that worked for me was to stop Plex, navigate to plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases and delete or rename any *.db-shm *.db-wal, then restart plex. My HDHomerun showed up immediately and is working in the Plex frontend

Try shutting off your Plex … >> log out of your account then re-logging back in sometimes it will reset whats missing, i have had to do that 3x over the past 2 yrs when my QNAP would just go M.I.A. but then after reboot of Plex it was back…oddest thing ever saw but that’s electronics .

Edit: This will be MY last Help for Anyone Apparently some one who works for Plex got there EGO Bruised Because I helped you and he didn’t get too…Sad little minded ppl i have to say…I got a STRIKE for Helping …they said I broke Guidelines aint that some BS!!!
