HD Homerun has disappeared from Plex Live TV DTR

Been running my HD Homerun with Plex successfully for years. Some updates to Plex during the last few months has caused the configuration to disappear.

When I go back into Setup Plex DVR, it does not find it - “We couldn’t find any hardware we recognize, but will continue to look for available devices. Don’t see your HDHomeRun device? Enter it’s network address manually.”*

After entering the IP address, the Plex wheel spins endlessly. HD HomeRun is working fine and able to be accessed from the network and other devices but not in Plex. Nothing has changed on the network and devices, except the Plex updates.

Without logs we can only go by your description, but your problem does sound the same as this thread. I’d first suggest deleting the tv.plex*.* files and reboot as others have had success with that process.

Thanks for the heads up on the other related thread. It is always really difficult to navigate so many discussion threads and searches only provided limited help.

I deleted the tv.plex*.* files as suggested and restarted and this fixed the problem as the HD Homerun was back up and running in Plex.
