I just signed up for Plex Pass and decided to try out Live TV. I have Plex running within docker on CentOS7. I have an older dual ATSC HDHomeRun tuner, model HDHR-US.
According to the article that follows, all HDHomeRun devices are supported:

However, no matter if I try to automatically find the device or manually enter the IP address, the device is not found (in the case of manual, I see "There was a problem adding the device: " with the appropriate IP address. I looked at the “Plex Tuner Service.log” and see the following:

I can access the tuner with the HDHomeRun app on the phone without any problems. I also tried it with another media server and it worked without any problems there too.
