I’ve recently bought a HDHomeRun to record shows using the PlexDVR, and then play them back in Plex.
When I play them back, the video recording quality usually starts off fine, but after two or three minutes, the resolution becomes terrible, even on HD channels. If I pause that part of the program, leave Plex and go back to it, it plays normally, so this suggests that there’s nothing wrong with the quality of the recording… but I’m wondering what’s gone wrong with the playback. Are there settings that can be changed on the way it’s recorded that can help? I’ve tried different playback settings on Plex (direct stream, etc.) and this happens on all of them?
