HDHomerun Prime cannot record due to transcode error

I’ve just purchased a Plex Pass to try out the DVR functionality. I’m running Plex in a FreeNAS jail and everything was working fine without livetv/dvr functionality. I cannot successfully record a show as I get “There was a transcoder error” on everything I try. It does not matter if it is SD or HD. I’ve looked in the logs (attached) and I see the following:

All of those error lines seem to be the problem, but I don’t have enough information to figure out what to change. I have, for many years, successfully recorded from a HDHomerun Prime in other software so I do not believe that is an issue. I can watch live tv over the web client if that helps. I’m also not sure as to why a transcode is necessary during record (I have that setting off in the DVR settings). Any idea about that as well?

Did I do something wrong with my post above? I thought I knew all of the support avenues, but maybe this is in the wrong place? I’d really like to get this up and running. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix or for someone in the support organization to look at this?

I am having the same sort of issue, transcode error when recording. Seems to be just ABC. I’m doing a bake off between Plex and Emby and interestingly Emby having issues with the exact same shows/station.

Doing a forum search, seems to be a lot of people with the same issue. Where is support on this?

The error seems to be that there is no profile for this video type (“no direct play video profile exists for http/mpegts/”). This is recording from a HDHR Prime from an SD channel. I’ve had this same error many times when trying to record a movie in SD resolution. Is this a fault with the guide listing the wrong resolution?
