OK I have a few things going on…

  1. Just setup my Hauppauge quad tuner card and it only sees 2 tuners… curious if it is supposed to see all 4?
  2. Since I can stream live tv from the OTA tuners, I tried adding HDHomerun Prime in and it starts too and even scans channels but fails to add the tuner. Can you have OTA and Cable together in Plex Live TV?

You can have multiple tuners as long as they user the same channel linup. ie the channels are on the same guid. So if your Hauppauge is using clear quam from cable and the HD Home run prime is using cable card to get everything else it would be exactly like i had running.

ok cool… so cant mix cable card and OTA… got it… (I know nextpvr does so was hoping plex did as well) but in June it don’t matter because I am going to have the HDHomerun 4 OTA tuner they just came out with and ditching Xfinity…

Dummy me didn’t notice the 2 tuners say 2 on them each… hah…

got a new antenna and did a rescan on BOTH… and got different results…

not sure why it picked up different channels… and why does it not enable them all? is it based on it detected the channel but not watchable?

also while using a Roku and plex app, live tv was struggling… is there a way to set a 5 second cache or 10 second cache to buffer more?

deleted dvr… trying a rescan and setup new…
