I run a plex media server on my qnap nas.
Can anyone tell me whether or not hdhomerun connect freeview box works with plex in the UK?
Can I setup up stuff to record remotley?
Which is the best freeview box to get?
Yes I have a HDHomerun Connect running from the output of a YouView plus box.
I have access to all the Freeview channels but have only setup a few of the ones that I want to record from. Recording works but there are a few dropped frames and 10 - 20 seconds at the beginning of each recording where the picture will freeze.
I don’t use this as our main DVR but it is a useful backup to either record the F1 or stream it to another TV (which doesn’t have an Ariel) while the family are using the main TV.
The Plex setup takes account of you EPG area and postcode so that you get the correct programs for your area.
