Hi. i’m using Plex on a windows 10 platform, and want to set up my HDHR Dual for Livetv through DVB-C
Plex can easily find the tuner during setup, and connect to it, but unfortunately i am not able to choose DVB-C, only “antenna”.
When i select “antenna”, i get a list of selections for DVB-T providers in my area, but i’m using DVB-C, There is no DVB-T signals through my provider.
The HDHR tuner has been set up through HDHR setup application to EU-cable, and i can easily see all channels in the HDHR application, and it also works fine in EMBY, but i want to use PLEX
I wonder what i’m doing wrong, since Plex only recognizes DVB-T on the device ?
( i have 2 HDHR dual tuners - 1 is online and 1 i’m saving 1 for spare) I’ve tried with both devices and get the same result - only DVB-T (or Antenna) is selectable
I forgot to add the TV-Tuner log
But apparently, Plex can’t find the C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Tuner\Private\devices\dvb\file\drv_file.ini
And i can confirm that it does not exist
Hi fireflite, I am having the same problem with my HD Home Run… here is my post:
Hi all I am new here and I have had my Plex server running for about 5 weeks now. I have just brought a Plex Pass and I am now adding Live TV with a Silicon Dust HD Home Run, for some reason the Plex is freezing when I click ok to confirm the program guild the little orange circle just keeps on going around, I have left it for about 15 minutes and its still going.
Can anyone help at all please.
Windows 8.1
Plex Version 1.9.7.4460
Silicon Dust - HD HomeRun
DEBUG - * file_tuner::get_stream_file. File C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Tuner\Private\devices\dvb\file\drv_file.ini does not exist
I tried to create a transponder.ini for Plex, and i can see it in Plex.
I can also do a scan in plex, but the end result is the same…No channels found ??
Yep - Emby see all channels just fine
