HDHR3-DT not detected

Hi all,

So i have a HDHR3-DT on that latest firmware (20161117) that is not detected by plex (1.5.5.3634). Both devices are on the same network and the plex system can ping/curl the HDHR. I tried manual setup with the IP however this did not work (I did read this is expected behavior with older tuners).

Ideas?

Tuner logs just repeat this over and over when it’s searching for the tuner:

I saw your thread DaddyGoofball, unfortunatly I don’t think your solution applies as I am not running plex in a FreeBSD jail but in a CentOS VM.

Is there more/different information I can supply to help resolve this issue? It’s disappointing that it seems to work for almost everyone else without issue…

I’ll add that the HDHR seem to work through the windows SiliconDust app to view TV via VLC.

Can you provide your PMS logs showing you trying to connect to it from PlexWeb?

Have you installed 1.7.2.7838 and still have this issue? If so, can you post Plex Tuner Service and Plex Media Server log? Thanks!

Sorry about that. Your log isn’t complete. Please provide the entire Plex log package from Plex Web, Settings \ Server \ Help \ Download Logs.

Sorry about that! Fresh logs now here! And yes, I’ve updated to 1.7.2 and still seeing this issue.

Is that the full zip file from Settings > Help > Download Logs?

Honestly not sure… what IPs are the Server and the HDHR?

Server is 192.168.2.67; HDHR is at 192.168.2.163.

Logs are complete all be it short, essentially just the logs from a single boot up of plex and then trying to scan for the HDHR in the web interface.
