Just wanted to share my feedback after testing newly introduced HDR support on S and X.
Plex team did listen and implemented it. Continuous improvement of Plex software absolutely deserves Plex Pass subscription that I purchased almost 4 years ago. Newly introduced HDR support, supports HDR game captures and HDR video files as well.

Does it say it is hdr in the app?
I’m still experiencing the same old problem where it starts playing a file with HDR, plays for a few seconds, and then buffers and switches to a transcode without HDR.
Is anyone else still encountering this? Am I doing something wrong? Settings or something?

It says HDR on TV. TV switches to HDR and colors are not washed out.

Remove all audio tracks except supported. Use MP4Box or Box4 2.0 to create MP4 to avoid on the fly switch from HTTP to DASH.
Xbox One S I have doesnt play the HDR. Is this a feature for everybody? With the samsung tv ap, HDR works.
