Will Plex ever support HDR Tone mapping in windows and actually utilize the GPU in hardware acceleration? When i Turn this feature off i can run 3 4k transcodes simultaneously, but my footage looks so terrible. but with it enabled i cannot run even 1 4k transcode. I tried to figure out how to run a docker and get nvidia working through wsl but that was a nightmare. It’s 2023 and theres tons of 4k HDR files and would be nice to be able to finally get this working.
Tone mapping in Windows already works with a Nvidia GPU
Make sure you’re using the 64-bit version of Plex Media Server
