Same thing with Arabic subs on Samsung tv

Same here,
Leaving Early access solve the problem.
Hope it’s gonna be fixed in the new player.

Same here.
Leave early access worked as well.

Please fix with the next version :frowning:

Thanks for the report. I’m looking through this issue now and trying to reproduce the problem, but I’m not seeing the issue here (of course, I can’t read any RTL languages so I could be wrong). Could I get some logs to help track down this issue? Even better would be a sample subtitle file, with examples of how it should look and how it’s being displayed.

There is more issues.
After skipping some time the subtitles get crazy and not sync anymore.
disabling the subtitltes and re-enabling them fix it.

I also started to get transcoding exit due to a error with Hebrew subtitltes.

Is there a way to export the logs without senstive data? like users and ip address?

Attached is a Graphical representation of the problem, Hope it helps.

Thanks, I can see the issue with your sample, but I am unable to reproduce the issue on my devices. Could you provide a sample .srt file that is causing the problem?

Attached is a hebrew srt
Marvel’s.Agents.of.S.H.I.E.L.D.S06E07.Toldja.1080p.10bit.BluRay.AAC5.1.HEVC-Vyndros.zip (18.0 KB)

Thanks for the sample, but unfortunately isn’t reproducing the problem on my devices:

Just to confirm, when you are having the RTL issues, is the Subtitle setting on the info screen set to AppRenders or ServerRenders? Also, is it direct playing/streaming or transcoding the video?

Subtitle settings is set to AppRenders
Video is streaming using Direct Play,
To clarify, Leaving Early access solves the problem.

In your screenshot, is the subtitles correct? It looks like the punctuation is in the correct spot to me. Also using your sample on the early access app, the non-early access app, and the desktop app all yields the same result for me. What model is your TV? Maybe you can grab some logs as well with the issue, hopefully that’ll give us something to look at. You will need to enable Settings -> Advanced -> Log to Media Server to make sure your device generates logs.

The subtitle is not correct in my screenshot although punctuation seems in the right place.
TV model is Samsung Q6FN (TIZEN 4)
