Plex really needs to address this, I’ve moved on to Immich for all of my home videos and photos specifically due to this gap. Plex seems to be investing in their streaming services but nobody installs Plex for that purpose, managing home libraries is what brings new customers in and if they can’t manage their whole libraries they are just going to find something else that will.
