HEIC - are PLEX going to accept HEIC files in the near future??
Ive recently bought a mycloud home. Having had my old mycloud and no issues viewing through my tv, I’m completely at a loss as to why they have decided to work with PLEX who don’t work with Apple???
Why should I have to change over 20k photos just so I can view them through mycloud?

I’m debating returning the mycloud and purchasing something else but no idea what other options are available

Plex does not support HEIC/HEIF photos on any platform, not just MyCloud.
I want to move away from PLEX. My problem is with them.
How do I help bubble it? Sorry I’m not very tech savvy.
I’ve used mycloud before and linked direct. PLEX is causing the issue with the new version
Edit: The person who replied “…hasn’t been any progress” is the Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of Plex. The issue has visibility inside Plex, but there are higher priorities.
I’m not sure what you mean.
Plex has never supported the format and it appears they will not for quite some time.
If you are referring to the Camera Upload feature, that was removed in March 2021.
The only option you’ve got is to vote for the feature suggestion.
Plex hasn’t supported HEIC photos at all to the very best of my knowledge.
