Help getting server to count episodes

Here is my dilemma…I have 9 seasons of Hawaii 5 O up on my server and plex acknowledges all 9 seasons and i can play all episodes…the issue is plex is undercounting the total number of episodes displayed in the thumbnail to like 175 when it should be a total of like 225. Closer scrutiny season 3 only shows 1 episode and season 4 displays 0. I have tried moving series out / seasons out etc doing the scan and trash dance etc but it always comes back to season 3 and 4 not registering. Yet the episodes are not missing and all play fine . And yes the naming convention should be the same as all other seasons as it was done with the software file bot. So does anybody got an idea whats going on here ? Thanks

How are they named / organized inside your library directory?
Also… on what platform are you experiencing this? With Linux and NAS based servers, there’s always a chance of a permission problem.

Keep in mind the number displayed on a show / season poster is the number of unwatched items!

Windows 10 pc dedicated server…and all should be unwatched

Here you can see how shows are loaded on drive…the differences between season 2 which is recognized fine and season 3 which is not…All files are in one folder leaving plex to divide them into correct seasons

I Stand corrected sir …you were dead on in your advice to the shows being watched…not sure how or why plex had me as having watched these episodes but that is exactly what the problem was…Thanks for the assist…i was at wits end trying to figure that out… + bangs head on desk +
