Plex confusing tv seasons & episodes

Player Version#: All (Roku, Web Plex Android App)
The latest version of the server is confusing tv seasons and episodes. I mark season 1, all episodes watched, and season 5 is marked watched. When I fix that and go to watch a season 5 episode, that episode in season 1 opens. Sometimes, sometimes it is visa versa.

Similarly when I was browsing season 1 (or 3, etc), it was showing the metadata for season 5 (thumbnails, descriptions, etc). On another occasion I was watching an entirely different show and returned to the other that had the screwed up episodes, an

d then the other show’s episodes were marked watched. I have just tried optimizing the database but doubt that will help.

99.999% sure its your file naming, and folder structure.

If you want to save yourself a lot of time I would recommend using archive.tinymediamanager.org and use:

Episode format:
${showTitle} - S${seasonNr2}E${episodeNr2} - ${title}

Folder format:
${showTitle} (${showYear}) {tvdb-${tvShow.ids.tvdb}}/Season ${seasonNr2}

as the new name format.

I am following the file name conventions precisely. This just started after the most recent server update.

99% of the time when someone declares this so precisely, they are not. Provide a screenshot to prove.
