HELP PLEASE removed wrong server from list

I’m freaking out, I had a server with 30+ people on it, I moved it to another computer. In the process I had claimed two servers 1 on the new box by mistake and the old one that was still in use

I removed the wrong server from my authorized server list and that was the one with ALL my users access

Please tell me there is a way to get this back? is there a server ID I can restore? where is that old server linking info online? I have another computer image of it when it was working can I restore that ?

Please please help I deleted all my friends access by removing that wrong server

If you unclaimed a server, you should be able to re-claim it.

If you are on the server itself, go to http://127.0.0.1:32400/web.

Or, from another system on the same network, go to http://server_ip_address:32400/web (use the real IP address of the server).

I removed the server from authorized devices the server association with my account is removed, therefore all users who were invited to that no longer can access or see that removed server

the serverID or association with that server ID and the users is gone, how can I get it back :frowning: @ChuckPa

The issue is I think that authorized device ID for the server is stored online in your plex account and cannot be restored?

Removing a server from Authorized Devices unclaims the server.

Also, I ran a quick test with my test server. I removed the server from Authorized Devices, then reclaimed it. The libraries shared with another account were removed when the server was unclaimed. Looks like you’ll have to re-share with the 30+ people.

theres no possible way of restoring that ? is it stored locally? I can re-image my drive from before I removed it

do we know where that association is stored?

if I restored an image of the server with the original server and token would that reclaim the server?

I am not aware of a way to bulk restore the shared libraries. I’ve asked some other people, but have yet to hear back. I tried loading a backup of the Plex database and that did not work.

However, you do not have to re-invite everyone. You will have to re-share the libraries with each individual person.

The people you shared with should still be listed as friends: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends

Click on Grant Library Access, then choose one of the names listed, then choose the libraries to share with them.

Edit: The server must be claimed and online before you can re-share the libraries.

the issue with this is they have to re-accept the shared libraries correct? and most probably dont know how to accept the new server and libraries

No, but they will have to re-pin to their home page.
