Hey Guys, so I’ve been using plex for a while and up until now when ive had a problem ive hunted to find the answer, and its helped me develop a knoweledge base into this software, so thank you to all those posting and answering, this community is great!
Alas I have hunted and hunted and have no idea where to go next.
I have for changing rigs, and formatting installed Plex on my new rig.
I can get it to populate every inch of information for every title in my collection, except “The Simpsons” folder, this folder contains 605 episodes / shorts and no matter how I push the data to it, it continues to come up as a blacked out listing in my library, its the only one.
Thing that has me stumped is, I know all the filenames are correct for searching because on my old pc it populated fine.
Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I’ve tried a stack but dont mind trying again to nut this out.
Ok forget it, just populated it through the Movies Database, instead of TVDB and it worked a treat

Randomly poking I saw someone claiming Plex can’t handle more than 18 seasons of a TV show. Is that correct?
It would be a problem with the Simpsons, if I can ever find a way to get the seasons after 17 (the last DVD season set apparently to ever be issued for the show).
No longer an issue. PMS release 1.1.3 (now public for all) fixes it… It was so big and important, the dev team just pushed it straight to public.
