So today I go to open my plex app on my shield, and it says my creds have expired please sign in. Okay, I try to and it says my username and pass combo doesnt work (weird). So i reset my password. I try my new password with my username, it still says im using the wrong name and password (NO IM NOT!) I tried to signin with my email and the new password. lets me in. then im greeted with a nice Please purchase a subscription! WTF! I already have a lifetime subscription! Plex fix it now!
HAHAHAHA now they are saying i never had a plex pass! you got to be f***ing kidding me!
The user profile you are using right now is only 1 hour old.
If you have a Gmail address, did you login to the plex.tv home page with your Google account? If so, this caused a new plex account to be created.
Sign out your web browser from the current account.
Load this page https://app.plex.tv/desktop
then click on your avatar in the upper, right corner and then ‘Sign Out’
Now login again, this time by using your email address.
Don’t click on the buttons which say ‘Continue with Google’ or ‘Facebook’.
If this doesn’t work, please send me your old Plex username per PM.
