[Solved] Plex asks me to order Premium While I got Lifetime subs

Player Version#: webplayer

I noticed after last ugprade that my server is now asking for plex Premium when I already have premium access life time ordered. I am using the same account on server as i have the premium acccesss purchased… Why is this happening?

I am having the same issue - probably something server-side. (Newest Windows PMS here: 1.21.3.4046, Player: Plex for Windows Version 1.27.2.1599-7689068b)

I am running into this as well. This does appear to be intermittent. Looks like the /user endpoint is occasionally omitting the active subscription.

Same issue for me. 1.21.3.4021 but sign out → sign in fixes it.

The underlying issue that was causing this behavior has been fixed by the team. If you’re still seeing the “Go Premium” prompt even after refreshing the browser window, then you can sign out your account (at the top-right, under the account menu) and then sign in to the account fresh. That should ensure the app has the correct, updated information.

That was quick! I got curious because it popped up at the top of the forums page. And although I am not a Plex Pass user, I’m happy to see that you fix those issues quite quickly. Great job PlexDevs!
