Help! Posters Missing!

Some of the posters are missing (please see the 1st image).
When I click the pencil icon and edit the item, it will list some posters in the “poster” tag at the side bar (please see the 2nd image), which means that the server can search the poster based on the the file info, but it just doesn’t display.

The ones which show the posters, are because either I set the poster manually, or there is a cover.jpg file in the same directory with the film file.

Do I have to edit every single film with poster missing?

Who can help to answer it. Thanks!!!

Your example doesn’t help. I see a poster for Ben Hur. Can you edit one of the movies you don’t see a poster?

Thanks for reply! I’ve manually updated all the posters so far, so everything looks good for now. But back to the example, if I edit the film without a poster, say Braveheart in the first image, it’s as the same as Ben-Hur: a bunch of of posters will be detected, and I need to select manually one of the posters, and it will display on the home page.

Do you have a poster file for the movie? Can you open that file? Or could the poster be a really, really large file. I’ve seen this happen when PMS cannot read the poster file for one reason or another. It can’t then create the small image you see on the screen so it comes out blank.

I have recently started having this problem too but have not had time to investigate. I am running plex server docker on unraid.

Plex matches movies fine but does not select a poster. All other details are correct and when I edit details posters are there to select only Plex is not selecting one.
