I have updated to the latest PMS. I use “Subler” to update metadata and posters for the media file BEFORE moving the file into PMS library. What’s happening is that the Library shows the poster for most of the movies, but when editing any individual file, no posters are displayed (it’s completely empty of posters). I’ve tried unmatching and re-matching, refreshing metadata, analyze, etc. I assume that the poster it’s showing is the one I added via Subler. I have some movies where no poster shows up (even though there’s on in the metadata - via Subler) and I cannot get PMS to add a poster.
Another oddity, is that if I tell PMS to “refresh metadata” for all files in the library, than I LOSE all posters (i.e. the library shows “blanks” for all the movie posters.
Doing the Plex dance for the library causes the posters to show up again in the library but NOT in the “poster” field when editing any of the media movie files… This is new behavior.
Thoughts??
