Hi - I’m running a Macbook Pro with Plex Pass. I’m a new user. For single movie files, Plex is working perfect. But for TV shows, I’m getting very inconsistent results. I loaded 10 episodes of a show into a directory this morning and this evening, only one episode was available on my Plex Player. This has happened with a number of different shows. For another show, I had 26 episodes in my folder on the server and only 25 episodes will appear on the player after 2 days.
And on one show - the Monkees - Plex continues to name the first 15 episodes with the titles of the first 15 episodes of Freaks and Geeks for a reason I cannot fathom (after repeated tries and double checking fixes of meta data and naming conventions of the files). So I fixed that my manually changing each episode name on the Plex software.
There also doesn’t seem to be a way to see the progress / timing of when things are being uploaded. Any help to any of these questions would be great. I’m a little disappointed there isn’t a straightforward way to get tech support for this amazing service.
