Plex not picking up TV episodes

Excuse my ignorance - I know this has probably been asked before but I am pulling my hair out here!
For some reason Plex isn’t picking up some episodes of my TV shows. It will pick up episode 7 and 10 but not 8 and 9. I have checked naming convensions and mine all seem to be fine (all episodes are named the same way ShowName/SeasonXX/ShowName SXXEXX and they are all the same file type). I also saw it could be a permission issue but all eps are in the same folder. I’ve updated my Plex to the latest version and I can’t think of any other way to fix it! arghhhh Why isn’t there a way to manually add media that plex ignores?

I’m also having issues with metadata where it picks up one show as another show i.e picking up supernatural as supergirl and I have no idea why. I’m hoping the update might fix it but it certainly seems like something is corrupt somewhere along the line :frowning:

I’m fairly new to PLEX but haven’t seen this issue yet. Can you provide a screenshot of the shows of the ones that work and don’t. As far as the name of the show showing up wrong, go to the properties of the file on your computer and see if it has any info in the Title under description. If so remove the name there and save it as the name of the file should be sufficient. Once completed, go to PLEX and click on the 3 dots for options to the folder that contains the tv show and select Scan Library Files.
