I have a Western Digital My Cloud 4TB Drive model WDBCTL0040HWT-10. About 6 months ago I installed a Plex Media Server plugin I downloaded from the Plex website. It worked fine although it couldn’t transcode video being it’s not powerful enough. I decided to uninstall it temporarily because it used a lot of power on the HDD. For whatever reason I cannot reinstall the plugin to create a server. Whenever I try it sits on an “Updating…” message and then tells me “Unable to upload app package for installation. Please check your network connection and try again.” The only difference I can think of is a change in routers, being TP-Link Deco X60 routers instead of the single Spectrum provided router. I’m at a loss as to what to do. Please help.
