Hey guys, just installed Plex 2 hours ago and as nice as the streaming is, it won’t recognize my shows.
EDIT:: sorry apparently posted in the wrong forum. my bad.
after reading through the wiki and naming conventions, i guess i know the culprit, it’s the " - " between name of the show and SxxExx.
let’s see, i’ve got about 200 shows and have my wn naming system which xbmc recognizes without fail and thetvdb scraper on xbmc recognizes without helping at all. so that’s not the problem.
here’s an example: “W:\A.Certain.Magical.Index\Season.1\Toaru.Majutsu.no.Index.S01E01_(1280x720_h264)_[678AB4A6].mkv”
you see, the name that thetvdb HAS to rcognize is in the top folder, but i also find the japanese names when i put them in manually on their website.
BUT because i work a lot with linux services and use my ftp server to synchronize i don’t want to have to rename them alls with spaces in the middle and a minus.
i’ve already found the scanner python file but my python is at a level of a toddler and i’m as bad with Regexp.
so if a kind soul would help me with that regxp it would be really appreciated.
if i falsely accused the regexp and there’s something else wrong, i’m sorry and included the two “common” logs that could cause this.
