Here's hoping I get some feedback on my XBOX 360 issues!!

Since last week when playing AVI files the audio sync is out by about 3 - 5 seconds, tried several different shows and movies but all with the same problems, even tried converting one season to MKV.
Another thing I have noticed also is that when resuming from last played item it goes back to the beginning, when trying to forward it says “There was an error communicating with your Plex Media Server, make sure it is turned on and accessible and try again”
So definitely an issue with Plex and XBOX 360 as the ATV 4 works fine.
Would it be time to decommission the XBOX?
This device is what I am using the most of, tried troubleshooting the problem by reinstall Plex on the XBOX and singing out and in, deleting the device and adding it again via www.plex.tv/pin. no fix.
Not holding my breathe on this and looking through the forums no one has really got an answer for this problem.

The 360 sucks for playing video with Plex. It is a 360 issue.

Get a Roku stick (http://amzn.to/29axuV3) you’ll be happier.

The Plex for Xbox 360 app does not currently Direct Play media. Content matching the following can usually be Direct Streamed:

  • Video Encoding: H.264
  • Video Bit Depth: 8-bit
  • Audio Encoding: AAC 2.0

Other content will need to be transcoded.

Plex on Xbox 360 is limited to 720p (e.g. 1280 x 720px) output resolution. The Plex for Xbox 360 app is not currently able to output 5.1 surround sound audio and is limited to 2.0 stereo output. Content with more audio channels will automatically have the audio transcoded to be compatible.
