HEVC no video but has sound

HEVC no video but has sound with Plex but I can watch in other apps. I have been noticing some videos lately doing this so I went and checked other ones and they are all HEVC. Microsoft says it’s installed and I can play in other apps fine

I do know I can play HEVC but not HEVC 10 bit

What player are you using? Plex for Desktop or the WebApp?

Can you also post the metadata of that file?

Also what player do you use? hevc 10bit should play just fine…

Never tried 10 bit because this what I read on a search:

Well, if you are using a TV as a player, decoding different codecs is a different topic and you are probably wrong in this subforum and thread. This subforum/thread is talking about “Desktop Players”. They shouldn’t have a problem decoding hevc 10bit. :wink:
