Hallo together,
i have several hevc files. I created them with final cut. When I want to download them to my device Plex always make transcoding, but my devices shows it native.
I have a Diskstation 218+.
On the Diskstation I created a new iOS.xml with hevc, I changed the file owner to “Plex” and I restart the server. Nothings work…
What can I do?
There’s actually nothing you can do.
Right now, “syncing” is not designed to download the original file. Plex has this feature but only uses it for the desktop apps.
This is not Good. Now I use Infuse. With plex Integration and real download it works…
But why plex dont work on original Download? In the forum an several topics… many want this feature
