Hi-Res FLAC files get downsampled

I just started to use Plex Amp, and I noticed that the Hi-Res FLAC files that I have get downsampled to 44.1 kHz when I stream them (local network). I have poke around, and I cannot find a setting on the server or the player (android Chinese DAP) to change this.
Is there a way to stream the file untouched to the client? Or is it the Plex Amp app for android that is doing the downsampling?
