I am evaluating Plex for use with my kids’ Amazon Fire tablets. I have set up the plex server in docker on my server and installed the official client from the amazon appstore.
I want my kids to see only the server’s local content and no online content at all. I have created managed users for them and disabled all online content at Settings>Online Media Sources, where I set every option to Disabled.
However the client still has a sidebar option for Plex movies and shows. I unpinned it but it is still available under More>Plex Movies & Shows. This shows all sorts of online content like Most Popular and Family Fun Night. Is there any way to get rid of this?
I have seen other queries about this but they all seem to be answered by disabling online sources, which I have already done.
I suspect this is a bug in the client because it doesn’t appear in the web version.
