Hide items that don't have artwork

There are parts of the UI that look less than pretty due to the lack of artwork (e.g. What’s On, Home, Recommended etc. often have maybe 50% art missing)

I think the option to not show items unless they have artwork would make these sections look a lot cleaner, and frankly I’d rather that than to see everything in those lists with a bunch of large empty artwork placeholders.

Would you mind sharing where you see such a scenario (maybe with a screenshot)?
So far all items in my library have posters assigned to them – which makes me wonder what the issue in your setup might be…

All cover art in my library is complete and that’s fine, but, for example, a lot of live TV programmes do not have covers so you end up with this kind of thing…

That sounds like an issue with the EPG… not sure why you want to hide items from continue watching based on if they have a poster or not.

It’s just that the epg doesn’t have covers for every single program. I guess you’re luckier than me if you have 100% coverage

The reason for hiding is to avoid a load of blank spaces as shown. To me it looks a bit rubbish and I’d rather just not show them (I would imagine this is a very simple if statement that would tidy things up a lot).
