Is there anyway to hide the “Related Movies” and “Movies You Might Like” sections. This is silly to me because I only host my own videos, I know what I have.

I very much dislike ANY machine or even most people telling me what I “might” like. I have the ability to actually think for myself and I find it insulting that some people think a might be able to choose for me.
From when this first showed up I asked that we be given the ability to turn it off but Plex chose to totally ignore that request.
While I can successfully ignore the crap Plex keeps throwing at me I should be able to configure Plex so that I never see any suggestions.
After all Plex says, “Your media your way” and being so “in my face” with suggestions is not “my way.” But Plex, as well as many many other companies, make money by lying to their customers.
I use Plex because of the fact that it is, by a small margin, the best of the streaming solutions around. But the fact that I cannot turn off suggestions and the other intrusive sections makes Plex less pleasant to use than it should be.
BTW: Emby is just as intrusive in this respect so there really is nothing to choose between the two based on this.
I found Plex Retro, which brings back the old design. I knew I didn’t like the new version but seeing the old version back is like old Coke compared to New Coke. Thanks to Plex for having the sense to bring back old Coke.
