High CPU/RAM usage of Plex DLNA server

I know there are a lot of topics about this and none of them gives any hope, but WTF? If it’s that bad either rewrite it ( in one of the discussions this is provided as only solution ) or remove it completely if you ( Plex Team ) cannot manage to fix it.

The DLNA server has a long-known memory leak.
They have never been able to find it.

It’s been this way for several years.
DLNA server is OFF by default for that reason.
