I just got into Holiday Video Projections this year. Currently we have 2 projectors in 2 different windows. The projectors are different but both play videos off usb thumbdrives and sd cards then repeat videos on a loop.
To get started this year we used iMovie to edit animations and audio to sync videos to play and compliment each other in each window. The problem we face is that we use a Bluetooth speaker to send the audio from the main window’s video out front. We got creative and sometimes try to move the audio from the left window to the right window. After some time the videos get out of sync.
I’m wondering if plex’s platform with the “watch together” option might have an easy way to sync our video clips together better. If not, would plex possibly be interesting in adding this as a feature for us holiday decorating geeks?
Other thoughts include simply getting the same projector as i think its more of a hardware/software issue. Basically one projector loads the next video 0.1 second faster than the other and an hour later we are 3 seconds off.
